Those 1st days home

Well I don't have too much time to post.. obviously. But things are going great... except for this laptop is on the fritz, and that would just be terrible because this is my main form of communication with family back in NJ. Anyway... learning to nurse Olivia has been challenging, but fulfilling and exciting. It's so amazing that she's here. And perfect. She sleeps great all day... then at night we are up alllll night until around 5 am when she instantly falls asleep on the hour and stays that way for about 4 hours. So that's been my time to sleep. Plus I try to nap while she's sleeping during the day, but all I wanna do is stare at her.
Today we actually took our first trip out to Target. I just had to get out of the house. She did great. Slept the whole time actually. Anyway, I feel great, she's doing great, and all is well.

  1. BEAUTIFUL!!!! I LOVE Target for little girls. It's so much fun to dress them and come out of there with so much more than you went in for. And I love all the hair - you should put some bows in it for her. Talk to Lachelle about the site for the perfect hair bows.

  2. Olivia is gorgeous! What's nice is that having one child you are able to sleep when they do:) Although she likes to pull all nighters how nice that she sleeps good for you. Once you have more children it gets crazy and you don't get to sleep when baby does. How fun that you already took your first outting at Target. What's funny is that is the 1st place I took Mariyah when she was a few days old. I am glad you are doing good and I am excited to meet Olivia:)

  3. She's adorable! Good luck with the nursing. If you ever need to vent or ask questions about - give me a call. Honestly. I'm an open book and had a rough time for the first 6 weeks but now Ellie is 13 months and I've finally almost weaned her! Keep up the sleeping when she does as much as you can (although I know it is so hard to tear yourself away from that cuteness!)

  4. You're so brave to take her out so soon. I stayed in doors for weeks. Good luck with nursing. It is such a bonding experience. I ended up calling a LPN (and nursing specialist) several times for help. She's really nice and free! Her name is Mary Wisneski 480-964-0987.
